It started out as a small school project but grew in to a small herd.

Our flock is made up of Katahdin hair sheep — a hardy, low-maintenance breed known for producing excellent, mild-flavored lamb. Unlike wool breeds, Katahdins shed their coat naturally each year, which means they're raised without the need for shearing, making them a great fit for our pasture-based approach.

The herd has grown, and we've learned a lot along the way — from lambing season to rotational grazing, our sheep are part of what makes Hills of Kindness a true working farm.
